DAY 1. QUITO – LAGO AGRIO – CUYABENO
Departure from the Cuyabeno River Bridge. Canoe trip along the Cuyabeno River to our cabins. Lunch. Visit the large lagoon to swim and enjoy the sunset. Dinner. Overnight.
DAY 2. HIKING
Early breakfast. Walk for approximately 3 hours in the primary rainforest to learn about the flora and fauna, especially the use of medicinal plants, frogs, insects, birds, etc. Rest. In the afternoon, we will paddle a traditional canoe to the lagoons and rivers to explore and enjoy nature. Here you will have the opportunity to swim and enjoy the sunset. If conditions permit, we may observe pink dolphins. Return to the cabins. Dinner.
DAY 3. CUYABENO – LAGO AGRIO – QUITO
Breakfast. Visit to the Siona Tarabeaya community, where we will help the family prepare the typical Casabe meal. Your guide will explain the culture and traditions. Lunch will be served, then a visit to the shaman who will explain the jungle ceremonies. Return to the lodge. Dinner will then be taken, followed by an overnight canoe expedition in search of caimans.
DAY 4. CUYABENO - LAGO AGRIO
Early morning breakfast. Cruise along the Cuyabeno River toward the bridge.
